DESIGNING ELEMENTS

When the client of a 1960s modern home requested the addition of a fountain as part of their landscape renovations, we recognized the need for a custom design in order to maintain the integrity of the mathematical symmetry and original layout of the property. Working with Kai Schulte of Schulte Studios, we used the proportions of the golden rectangle to create a stone trough and stainless bowl, which would repeat the rhythm of the garden’s planting beds and paving pattern. The wall height and width doubles as seating, inviting guests to enjoy the tranquil gurgle of this meditative garden feature.
